At the beginning of the summer I headed out to Jordan River with my friends Chris and Nathan to shoot some photos for an upcoming project.
We cruised down winding west coast roads, chatted music, watched the fog bank roll in and hiked into the woods to find a long abandoned hydroelectric power station.
The power station has now become a destination for urban explores and graffiti artists. For years there has been the threat of the building being torn down as nature slowly takes it back. It's the perfect setting for a horror movie or a band photo shoot.
Sadly, these photos won't be used for the upcoming project with Chris and Nathan as they've added a third member to the band. It might be a perfect excuse to head back out to Jordan River later this summer.
In the meantime check out Chris's solo project Skov. and Nathan's band Shed Monkeys.
