Day 13: Household Change.

Instead of talking about how I hung some framed concert posters (the only change I made in my house this year) I'm going to talk about something I do around the house that makes my life 100% better. Beating the dishes.

When you live by yourself it is fairly easy to let things go. Cleaning the bathroom, doing the laundry, vacuuming, and doing the dishes are all simple tasks that can be done fairly quickly but often get swept under the rug in single life. I'm terrible at not doing the dishes. I could have a stack of dishes sit on the counter for a week or two without even taking second look. I only ever decided to do the dishes when I need something and I don't have any clean. The items  usually are forks, spoons, plates, cups, and pots. You know the things you use on a daily basis.

Recently I decided I was going to beat this nasty habit of not doing the dishes. Probably because I was tired of trying to eat yogurt with a knife. So now everyday I fire up a podcast and get washing those dishes. It flies by and things aren't extra gross because they sat there for a few days.

If only I could take this and apply it to the rest of my household chores.
